Lunch at De Palm Tree - Glamazini's Glam Fam Meetup

"What ever happened to the ole school get together/meet up ala Nappturality? I miss those. Informal, intimate, no swag bags, heels, tulle skirts and staged Instagram photos? Just product swaps, jeans, a meal and good conversation. I think I went to like 10 of these in varied cities back in the day. Today had someone comment on a YouTube video that they met me at one in Jacksonville (at a Cracker Barrel) ELEVEN years ago. Wow! Nothing against the current version of natural hair events but I honestly don't think that's my thing (hence why you only see me at like maybe 1 a year ... maybe). I miss meeting folk on a Saturday for breakfast/brunch/lunch or just going to do something together. I should start them again."

So I'm starting them again. :-)

Here are the deets:

Who: You; no charge to come but do be prepared to buy lunch when you come :-) Limited tickets because I'm trying to keep number down since restaurant is tiny and only holds maybe 28 people max.

Please RSVP so I can call and let owners know if 3 of us are showing up or if 15 of us are showing up.

What: Lunch {as in show up and eat with me and others at a restaurant}

Where: De Palm Tree Jamaican Restaurant on Olive just east of 170 ~ http://www.depalmtreestl.com/

When: Saturday, December 12, 2015 @ 2PM

Cost: It's free to attend but you are responsible to pay for your meal.

Please arrive ready to buy a meal and eat because, depending on number of attendees, we may be taking up much of the restaurant's space.

Why: Why not? Been feeling like getting out and doing some new things and would love to have someone to do it with. Besides, it's a great reason to meet up with some of my Glam Fam!

I've technically never eaten at De Palm Tree but hubby has and I've seen their food and both point to it being really good. They serve jamaican food, check out there menu here: http://www.depalmtreestl.com/menu.htm and come ready to eat (and to be clear, ready to pay, unless Jesus blesses me with sponsors one day I can't swing everyone's meals ... no swag bags either ... just me, others, and a good time chatting and being out the house).
